“ Korean Chinese restaurant @ Palisades Park, NJ The interior of the restaurant was clean and bright. We walked in without reservation for Friday dinner. We had to wait a while for the food to come out, but all the dishes were delicious. The fried dumplings had pork and a lots of green vegetables inside which were very juicy, ganjjajang had pork, onion and diced zucchinis the way we liked with noodles which were cooked well, the pork used in tangsuyook was a good quality and was fried crispy and jjamppong was spicy which went well with tangsuyook. The portion was very generous. Our server was attentive. We liked to come back and try other dishes. ”

“ Tried Hong Ban Jang for the first time but it definitely won't be last time going back. Really cozy Korean restaurant that serves comfort food like jajangmyeon, jjampong, mapo tofu, and so much more. The menu is super extensive and the wonderful thing is that they have combos so you could order two of your favorite things if you're indecisive like me ;) Make sure you know what you want once you sit down because they do not play! The waitress came over pretty quickly after I asked for another minute lol. But the service is also crazy fast so it balances out. The tangsuyuk is out of this world and the best I've had so far. Perfectly battered and fried, these babies hold up their crisp and deliciousness even when they cook down. I actually liked the jajangmyeon more than the jjampong! Definitely check it out! ”
“ We stopped by our jja jyung myun spot for for lunch on a cold day Food: We love the portions here. I tried the ma la jjampong for the first time and it was definitely spicy! Flavor was very good and I was not disappointed. I wish they had more meat dishes besides the tang ssu yuk. Maybe a bulgogi or something simple like a pork stir-fry? Service: They are always fast here despite how packed it can get. Ambiance: i appreciate the casual vibe at this spot. I wasn't sure where to go after the pho spot I wanted to go to was closed so I was glad that this place stayed reliable ”
“ Quick seating, a bit of a whole in the wall. We ordered the chicken tangsuyuk, seafood jjambbong and seafood ganjajjangmyun. The chicken came out first, but it was delivered to another table, who started to eat it. They realized their mistake and took it back, only to bring us the same one that they gave them. The noodles were good, better dishes than we've had at the food courts in hmart. Unsure if I would come again as the food was pretty good, just an unsavory experience. ”
